Finalist for Independent Author Award in Nonfiction

I had the pleasure of designing Joan Ulsher's book cover "Misplaced Childhood" in 2023.

It is difficult to share your own story, especially when it involves childhood trauma. Joan has turned her pain into advocacy with Child Advocates San Antonio (CASA), and her book will no doubt help many people through their own trauma and engage advocates in the fight against child abuse.

Joan received 5 awards recently at the Independent Author Awards, and our book cover was a finalist for Best Book Cover Design for a Nonfiction book! Proud to have worked on this and fulfilled Joan's vision for her story.
